welcome to my blog. I have been a designer for the last 20+ years, and have gone from markers to a mouse; rubber cement to RAM; and spray mount to software. During this time, I worked out of my house and raised a beautiful (oops- Mom talking) daughter. I guess that makes me somewhat of an expert at freelancing (and juggling)!
My father always says “This too will change.” Back in 1989, I still had a set of markers, a drawing table and a T-square. After teaching myself how to execute my designs on a computer, instead of on paper, I thought I had made the biggest jump in my career.Talk about changing mediums! But now, I see I have to continue to learn and explore. So - here I am!
I am going to use this blog to talk about my freelance life and what inspires me. You can also follow me along my journey to learn how to blog, use social media and eventually design and create websites. (starting with my own!)
